Yes! We will be open again at Level 2!
We are pleased to advise our clinic will be open again from Thursday 14th May
We hope that you and your families are all doing well. To prepare for level 2 we know that we all have challenges to overcome and we have been planning for this stage.
We know we will not be able to see everyone at once and will need to prioritise some patients. We are following guidelines provided by the Dental Council of New Zealand and will be working extra hours to see everyone, but please be patient.
Please read the information below and hopefully this will answer any questions you may have:
What order are we planning to see people?
As a general rule, we are seeing patients in the order that they were due to be seen before the lockdown. However, patients with breakages will be a priority.
How will making appointments work?
Our team will contact patients to arrange appointments. If you had an appointment in the first week or two when lockdown started, we will be trying to contact you as soon as possible.
What if something is broken?
Please email us ASAP. We may not be able to remedy the issue if we don’t know about the breakage prior to your appointment.
Your appointment
Below (in red) is the information you will be asked to read prior to entering our clinic – we can only see you if you answer “NO” to all of these questions. This information will be posted at our entrance outside the clinic.
Upon arrival you will be asked to confirm you have read this information. Please be aware that you may be asked to wait outside or in your car.
We request that patients attending treatment appointments are to come in their own (age dependent) and any attending consult appointments be accompanied by ONE adult only.
Please apply hand sanitiser (in the reception entrance) and report to our receptionist for sign in. We ask you to keep distancing rules from other staff members and patients and please do not touch anything unnecessarily.
We will ask patients to rinse with a mouthwash before starting treatment.
If you do not wish to make an appointment at reception before you leave, we can contact you by phone to make a new appointment.
Again, please be patient, we are working as hard as we can to see you as soon as possible.
Please consider your response to the following questions prior to attending your appointment:
- Do you have a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19?
- Are you waiting for COVID-19 test results?
- Are you in quarantine?
- Have you, or anyone coming in contact with you, had contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19?
- Have you returned from overseas in the last 14 days?
- Do you have any of the following symptoms?
- cough
- sore throat
- shortness of breath
- runny nose / sniffing / post nasal drip (runny nose at the back of the throat)
- lack of smell
- fever
We can only see you if you answer “NO” to all of these questions
